Hansika Motwani

Hansika Pradeep Motwani was born on 9th August 1991 to Pradeep Motwani, a businessman and Mona Motwani, a dermatologist. Hansika Motwani, driven by her looks, talent and a good dose of luck, can boast of a wide range of experience as a model and actress. Hansika Motwani started off her movie career as a child artiste. Spotlight shifted on her when she appeared in the soap operas like "Kyunki Saas Bhi". She had performed in a number of ad movies of the famous brands like Samsung Born vita, Pepsi, and Sentro along with Shahrukh Khan.

Hansika Motwani started her carrier as a child artist in the film that is entitled Yahoo along with the actor Govinda and Juhi Chawla. Today she is a versatile actress, a well-known model and a famous television star. She has completed 12th Grade from Podar International School.

She achieved the name and fame by her performance in the well known Hindi serial “Kyunki Saas bhi kabi bahu thi”. She became more famous for her extra ordinary performance in the Hindi TV serial “Des main Nikla hoga chand”and the all time super hit serial and Hum 2 hain na as a Child artist. She played a dual role in these serial and became a familiar name to everyone. Her performance as a child artiste in the Hrithik Roshan and Priety Zinta starred super hit movie Koi Mil Gaya was very much appreciated by the viewers. She is also seen in other movies like “Jaago” and “Hum Kaun Hai”.

In the year 2007 Hansika made her debut as a heroine in two movies as the leading lady and both were successful at the Box office, out of these movies one is Himesh Reshamia’s “Aap Ka Suroor - The Real Love Story” this movie was in Hindi and another notable one was Telugu Movie, "Desamuduru" with Allu Arjun in the lead role opposite her. For her performances she was nominated for the Filmfare Best Debutante Award. Hansika made her debut as a lead actress in Kannada film Bindaas with Puneet Rajkumar.The film was released on 15th February 2008.

She paired with Jr.NTR in the film kantri which was released in May 2008. The film was a moderate hit. It is rumored that she got to act opposite well known star Pawan kalyan in his forthcoming film 'Puli'. She was recently nominated for the prestigious Filmfare Award for the best debut Female. Another film titled Money Hai Toh Honey Hai is on the floors. In MHTHH, Hansika is working with Govinda.She is fluent in English, Hindi, Tulu and Telugu.

Hansika is presently living with her mother Mrs. Mona Motwani and Brother Prashant Motwani. She is being helped in physical fitness and diet management by Mickey Mehta. At the age of 16 she has three staff persons, as well as her mom, to manage her career.
